I Had a Bloody Good Time at House Harker is everything I'm looking for in a horror comedy. This was a kickstarter film and they earned every penny that was donated to making this gold.
This was easily my favorite movie we stumbled upon in 2022. It's funny, over the top, well casted, and well written. The practical make-up effects are fantastically bloody. We had our fair share of laugh out loud moments when watching this one. For a B-horror indie movie directed and acted by a group of friends, this is surprisingly SOLID.
The premise: the Harker brothers and their friend are the talk of the town, and not in a good way. They still believe in vampires. It's been decades since their great-great grandfather, Jonathan Harker, slayed Count Dracula. They plan on staging a vampire slaying at the Harker house after a few animal attacks occur in the area, but it goes awry when a real vampire takes the place of the actor. It's completely chaotic blood splattering hilarity from here on out.
Look, you even get a shirt if you survive!

Shameless plug of us wanting to give money to these guys in any way we can.
Fun fact: the phrase the girl speaks during the exorcism scene, "nuqDaq 'Oh puchpa' 'e'" is Klingon for "Where is the bathroom".
Clayton Cogswell, let me know if I need to personally fund your sequel.
